Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program
The Commonwealth of Dominica developed its highly reputable Citizenship by Investment Programme (CBIP) in the aim to boost its investment. The program is legally entrenched in the Dominican Constitution and the Citizenship Act.
The Government, through the CBIP, invites investments that will generate consistent economic growth and prosperity while creating jobs and business opportunities for its citizens.
Dominica CBIP allows foreign investors of good character to make an economic contribution to Dominica and in exchange, they and their families are granted full citizenship within the strict guidelines of the law.
Under current regulations, there are two (2) CBIP options to with a starting amount of USD100,000. The amount will vary based on the number of dependents included in the application.
Dependents may include children included up to age 30 and or parents over 55 years old. Government, due diligence and service fees may be applicable for dependents.
Investment Options
Individuals applying for the Dominica Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program can make their financial contribution either of the following options:
Economic Diversification Fund (EDF)
The EDF supports public and private projects within Dominica, covering industries such as education, healthcare, sport, tourism and other infrastructure projects. Contribution starts at USD $100,000.
Real Estate
To qualify for citizenship of Dominica under the
Real Estate Option, an applicant must purchase authorized real estate to the minimum value of
USD $200,000. Government fees starting from
USD $25,000 per applicant also apply.
